Erfolgreiche Übergabe Milestone I an die Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH)

Der Dachverband Lehm e.V. (DVL) wurde im Jahr 2009 von der Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) beauftragt, ein Ausbildungsprogramm zur Förderung des Lehmbaus auf der arabischen Halbinsel zu planen und als Pilotprojekt durchzuführen.

Das erste Modul des zweiteiligen Ausbildungsprogramms richtet sich an Architekten, Bauingenieure, Archäologen und vergleichbare Qualifikationen aus dem arabischen Raum. Das zweite Modul richtet sich an Arbeitskräfte mit handwerklichen Qualifikationen, die im arabischen Raum tätig sind oder werden wollen.

Die Übergabe der Ergebnisse unseres Projektabschnittes “Curriculum and Business Plan Development in Earth Building / Milestone I” am Mittwoch, den 06.01.2010 an die ADACH in Weimar ist sehr gut verlaufen. Unsere Auftraggeber waren beeindruckt.

Neben den umfassenden Kurslehrbüchern für die beiden Weiterbildungsprojekte “Planning and Building with Earth” für die akademische Zielgruppe sowie “Building with Earth” für Handwerker wurden auch die umfangreichen Dokumente zur Planung, Organisation und Durchführung der Kurse vor Ort in Abu Dhabi erstellt und übergeben. Dies umfasst u.a. die Konzepte der Kurstrukturen mit didaktischen und organisatorischen Details, Stundenpläne für die Lehreinheiten, die Prüfungsordnungen, Vereinbarungen mit Kooperationspartnern in Deutschland, Fragenkataloge, Musterzertifkate, etc.

Damit sind von der Seite des Dachverbandes Lehm e.V. die Grundlagen dafür geschaffen worden, die in dieser Form derzeit weltweit einzigartigen Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen umzusetzen. Wir möchten uns an dieser Stelle bei allen Mitstreitern für die gute Arbeit bedanken.
Der Zeitpunkt der Durchführung der Kurse wird voraussichtlich im Frühjahr 2011 sein.

DVL hands over Milestone I of a training course in earth building for the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH)

In 2009, the Dachverband Lehm e.V. (DVL) was commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) to draw up an education and training programme to promote earth building skills on the Arabian peninsula including the subsequent implementation of the course as a pilot project. The first module of the two-part education programme is aimed at architects, building engineers, archaeologists and other professions with comparable qualifications from the Arabian peninsula. The second module is aimed at building tradesmen and craftsmen in the Arabic countries as well as those planning to work in the region.

The handover of the results of Milestone I of the “Curriculum and Business Plan Development in Earth Building” took place on the 6th January 2010 in Weimar, Germany, and was well received by the client, the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage.

In addition to comprehensive training handbooks for both further education training programmes – “Planning and Building with Earth” for planners and professionals and “Building with Earth” for the building tradesmen – the DVL handed over detailed documentation concerning all aspects necessary for planning, organising and implementing the courses on site in Abu Dhabi. This included among other things a detailed breakdown of the course curriculum and didactic means, timetables for the teaching units, examination guidelines, contracts with certification bodies in Germany, a catalogue of examination questions and sample certificates.

With the completion of Milestone I, the Dachverband Lehm e.V. has established a basis for a further education training course that is currently unique throughout the world. We would like to thank all those who contributed to the realisation of Milestone I.

The pilot course is scheduled to take place in Spring 2011 in Abu Dhabi.
